Cwm y Rhaeadr, Carmarthenshire

Cwm y Rhaeadr

ŠPaul Edwards 2011

Taken on a very wet day in late October 2011 at NGR SN7576043555. I had planned to climb to the top of Mynydd Mallaen but wasn't prepared for the onslaught of rain and hail that greeted me on the mountain, so I retreated to this sheltered valley instead. The Rhaeadr is a stream that joins the Afon Tywi between Rhandirmwyn and Cilycwm in Carmarthenshire. Canon EOS 40D, Canon EF-S 10-22mm lens at 16mm, Manfrotto tripod. Exposure F8 at 2.5, 1.3 and 0.6 secs combined. Original image in Raw format, resolution 3888 x 2592 pixels. Ref: AW277.
