Hummingbird hawk moth

This was taken in Somerset rather than Wales, in July 2006, but these day-flying moths have become more common in Wales in recent years. They move very quickly though; this was the best of lots of attempts. Olympus E-20P, 9-36 mm lens with Macro Extension Lens Pro MCON-35.
